As the first point of contact for our clients, the Front Office Clerk plays a vital role in shaping the client experience and supporting the day-to-day operations of our busy law firm.

This position is more than just answering phones — it's about creating a welcoming environment and keeping our office running smoothly with professionalism and heart.

Job Duties:

Answer a high volume of incoming calls in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
Provide excellent customer service and de-escalate upset or frustrated callers using professionalism and empathy.
Sort, open, and distribute incoming mail to appropriate staff and departments.
Scan and upload mail into the case management system with accuracy and proper labeling.
Prepare outgoing mail, including certified mail, FedEx/UPS shipments, and standard correspondence.
Track and log incoming checks, legal documents, and time-sensitive correspondence.
Ensure all mail is processed and distributed within established daily timelines.
Provide support for intake or administrative teams as needed.
Assist with data entry and basic administrative tasks.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; some college and/or 1–3 years of experience in a front office, receptionist, call center, or administrative support role preferred.
Prior experience in a law firm or professional office environment is a plus.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
Comfortable using scanners, copiers, and multi-line phone systems.
Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and office equipment.
Ability to stand, walk, and lift packages.
Must have attention to detail and good time management.
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist across departments.
Must be professional at all times, work well under pressure, and be able to multitask.
Bilingual is a plus, but not required.

Salary & Benefits:

Salary Range: $16-$18

1 week paid vacation after 6 months.
2 weeks paid vacation after one year.
3 weeks of paid vacation after two years.
6 paid personal/sick days per year.
6 federal holidays off per year.
$50,000 life insurance policy paid by the firm.
Health insurance (4 different options to choose from including a Health Saving Account – HSA) basic packet health insurance paid in full by the firm.
